Okay I finally got around to thinking about this concept. I noticed the concept on anime blogs a while back, and yes, while a lot of Otaku’s would be thinking about who would be their ideal person for a wife – with the traits of the character. I would have to wonder if this is a new variation of top 5′s or not.
Now if I had a selection for mai husbandou.. Not sure if I noticed any female anime bloggers that put up a list for them yet. I feel quite silly, but since I am still single, and it seems like fun. I guess I can take a grain of salt from my own life and preference. This is by no means what I am looking for in my own real life.. but what the heck.
Okay these variations I got from the Lurkmore Wiki, so would that be the correct meaning?
Since I am a female, would have to say Mai husbandou.. and these are going to be in no particular order.
Umibozu from City Hunter. Okay he has that whole mercenary thing going on, but when he goes nuts over a cat, and when he blushes.. that is pretty cute…. I will be here to comfort you..
Luffy from One Piece. Gosh he is so exasperating, but the fact that he has an opposite personality than what I expect – like the way he is so charismatic, and self-sacrificing for his nakama, and dreams. That totally won me over with Alabasta, and then he woke up to gobble all those foods.. sweet dolt..
Kenpachi - oh god his – passion is so addicting.. that and that and how much details he pays to his hair. Still since that was an omake remark. I love his passion – so strong and fiery.
Chiaki-semapi: The dorama version of you! I love you!!!! Especially when you kick away Nodame so.. you’re so repressed, that it is so adorable as you conquered your fears. Daisuki! The reason why I like the dorama version over the anime, is because the manga was first made into the dorama first, and then the anime lagged behind.
Lastly… there is probably Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho. The height might deter anyone, but his inner torment, and the front that he puts up is so bad ass and cool.. probably might be wrong, since I so think of him as an OTP with Kurama. But oh well..

Very non-typical mai husbando list miz. I was expecting some Lelouch, Kamina etc. Oh wow.
Chiaki’s the only person whom I approve because he’s so tsundere. Kenpachi and Umibozu only if you’re into BARA, I suppose.
i thought more along lelouch lines, yeah.. some of these guys flat out scare me!

@Kairu … Hmm I have to go google who Lelouch is.. never saw Code Geas… but ick for Kamina.. I hated Gurren Laggen when I saw it. Still when I saw your waifu post, I was. hmm.. so that’s it. Then I looked at other waifu post, and they were like nearly all the same… tsundere, or moe preferences.. and I was like.. nah. If I were to have a mai waifu spot, which would out my orientation – I would have probably chosen Levi from Black Lagoon or Setsuna from Sailor Moon.
@Shin.. Well I included a dorama picture of Chiaki, anime he is all right. But yep Bara is a fandom of mine.. I wrote about bara in another blog entry of mine a while back. http://fujochic.com/2008/10/28/muscle-yaoi-aka-bara/ But also pretty good for you to pick up on the bara concept, not a lot of people would label it as such, unless I flat out tell them what is what. ^_^
@animekritik Well that way you know that will will be covering your back if anything happens. I am not too fond of the bishie look, pretty boring actually.. very pretty to look at, but no substance.

As some of these commentors can attest, my bi-curiosity isn’t just for show :awesomeface: There’s also that yaoi panel I attended, so I know a thing or two.
@Kairu.. Well I never saw Code Geas, so other than publicity by face.. nope.. Code Geas is one of those series I’ll watch years later or something. When I have time. No motivation yet.
@Shin Bi-curiosity is an good thing. Well I always avoid yaoi panels… because frankly other yaoi fangirls make me pretty nervous. Plus it is no one’s business other than my own for my preference in real life..

@fangzhao I don’t believe every things revolves around Haruhi Suzumiya…. I didn’t like the series as much, so I wouldn’t necessary put Kyon on the list.

@moritheil Well yes and no, since Hiei is technically not human. I imagine him of a age of where he is either like a cat, where he may be alive for certain amount of years, and he is old because of the time gaps. Also another reason – demons live for a looooong time.
Come to think of it.. how old is Kenpachi, since he’s technically dead.
Probably not, since I know there are plenty of other people cosplaying as Kurama. I am still holding out on cosplaying as Arale.. but other than that – I like to take pictures of good cosplayer. I don’t want to ever see myself as being a bad cosplayer.
