What!? I waited 7 months for this movie!? What the hurr durr man!?
- Death Eaters!? In the real world!? Im amused..
- Who’s that black girl talking to Harry while reading a newspaper? All I remember in the book was Harry is sitting alone in Privet Drive in the house on a window.. I think it would be cool if the movie did the same as that.. And what? Harry is in a fucking public restaurant (?). Oh wow.
- Dumbledore’s apparition is quite cool. And is dizzying I guess.
- Narcissa and Bellatrix went to Snape’s house. The street (I forgot the name) is so alike with the one I think of.. Also, would be better if Narcissa was the one who talks shit with Snape. I hate it when Bellatrix talks.
- Snape ALWAYS has great hair. durr hurr
- I dont expect Slughorn’s character to be like that. I expect a much smaller and grumpier one.
- ???
- Teen romance was disgusting. I hated it.
- Lack of action. Well, the book really has not much action but it’s not the same Harry Potter movie if there’s no shitloads of action.
- Luna Lovegood is the best in the movie + the lion costume.
- Lavander is funny by the way.
- The scene where Harry, Ginny etc. fought Bellatrix in the middle of nowhere where the house was burned was fucked up. I dont get it. I dont remember any scene like that in the book. But whatever, it adds te action I guess.
- Dumbledore dies. It didnt gave me much impact on that part. I expect Dumbledore would be flying down to the ground and with Snape’s avra cadavra with powerful impact on Dumbledore, but instead, Dumbledore just fell straight to the ground. wwwwwwwww
- No finale fighting-action. Im not amused.
So the movie in general wasnt that bad I guess. At least it was better than Transformers 2. The movie was boring. It acts like a prologue for the next movie. But I think its okay. Since all HP movies, turns out great to me.
Also, I watched Coraline last night. It was the greatest animated film I’ve seen in 5 years. The story was cliche but I dont care. It’s a movie where you dont need to care about the story and plot. You just feel like watching it and enjoys every single minute of it.
I loved the Harry Potter books. They spanned through most of my life (I started them when I was like 12 or something and now here I am at 21). I’ve read each book multiple times (like 12), and I actually started re-reading the final book last night (again).
That being said, I hate the movies. Not because they differ from the books, I mean, that’s going to happen no matter what book. It’s just that the movies seem to try and pack too many random scenes into them, and so it feels like there’s no continuous plot to me, and that instead they just throw a bunch of shit together and call it a movie, and then at the end the movie suddenly has an ending randomly. In a nutshell, they feel rushed. They cut out he wrong stuff and change the wrong stuff. That being said, the previews for this look pretty damn good (they always do though). I’m not going to ever make an attempt to see this film, but somehow I’ll probably end up seeing it eventually.
This comment is way too long, so I’ll end by saying that I really want to see Coraline, but still haven’t. It looks fantastic. I love that type of animation.
Book adaptation movies always end up not good. I also feel like Harry Potter movies are rushed. But it is rushed and still made up to be good.. in disguise but if you examine the movie well, it is pretty bad. I grew up knowing that all HP movies are good. So until now, I still believe the same thought.

I don't think the movie had been awesome, but it had been VERY entertaining. I freakin' love Ron in love potion and Harry with the luck thingy. They were so amusing xD Wahahaha!

They left out the fight between the Death Eaters and students out. And Dumbledore’s funeral, they left that out too.
Warner Bros. raped Harry Potter so badly.
I think they worked around the book quite successfully for this movie, especially since they didn’t follow it too religiously, which translated very well in my opinion. I still think they should have added more of Kreacher and Dobby because they will be important for the last book. But whatever…
Anyway, since you mentioned Coraline, which I would agree to be a great film. I need to suggest that you read the book of the same name by Neil Gaiman, which its based on (if you haven’t already). It is much more twisted and disturbing, I don’t see how anyone cannot like it. I hope you give it a chance!

I went to a bookstore last week and saw the book of Coraline and I was quite shocked since I didnt know that the movie was based on a book.. Meh, I wouldnt dare reading it. I classify the book as ‘chidren’s’ book. >_>
I guess I’ve lost all interest in Harry Potter. The movie lost all it’s luster in my eyes. It’s becoming like that show with the ninjas and stuff.
Meh. I never lost interest on Harry Potter. I grew up liking ALL the movies even though some of it are crappy.

HP6 was pretty good. Enjoyed it more than Transformers 2 thats for sure, Transformers 2 thats for sure…TF2 dragged so much…
And Coraline is awesome yus, dont think its the best animation I’ve seen in the last 5 years… maybe the best stop motion I’ve seen in the last 5 years though. But that would mean I’d have to remember what other stop frames I’d seen in the last 5 years lol…
