Im Starting To Forget ‘Anime’

Fall anime season ended and welcomed the winter anime. I quite liked the fall season anime, but this winter, I wouldnt say yes. Im starting to get bored in watching ‘new’ animes today (That should be the title if this post but what the heck). Normally when I start using the internet, I would check my Anime List, and check what episode am I in my currently watching anime. After knowing the episode, I would go to Crunchyroll (which is dead right now) and watch that certain anime. But this 2009, Winter season anime didnt get me much more ’sticked’ to anime. You know what I mean? Unlike this fall season, just by seeing the title and summary, it makes me wanna “Holy crap I gotta watch this one!!11″. Its been a week when the winter anime season started, and Im still not watching any winter anime . Maybe I wouldnt get bored anymore if I started to watch some winter anime?

As for my I-will-try-to-watch-and-I-hope-I-will-like-it-list:

I already watched episode 1 last week. And I didnt make a first impression post like everyone else did since I dont have much to say in this anime. All I can say is, Is this yuri? The main character is a girl and Mariya is a guy right? So why say yuri on this anime? Or maybe Im missing the point?

Fanservice first impression post later. I cant find any streaming site on this anime. Crap.

I honestly have no idea what your interests are, but Kurokami is worth checking out if you like some action. Although from what you have listed as possibles, it looks like you like the harems :p Not a good season for harems so far :< Asu no Yoichi might be ok, but I wouldn’t hold my breath

So far Maria Holic isn’t yuri. There’s only one “lesbian” so far, and by the end she’ll inevitably realize she likes that one guy.

It’s not surprising that you don’t really like many things in Winter. Not a lot of people do this season. I managed to fine four and I think that’s a miracle.

As for MariaHolic, it’s not really a spoiler that she’ll like the guy. It’s general anime prediction. I think anyone would realize that in the first two episodes or so (I read 4 chapters of the manga and we already get a pretty good indication of it).

I haven’t started watching anything either. I’m just carrying on with Toradora and Clannad After Story from the fall and watching some older stuff when I get bored.

So far, I watched those except asu and akikan which are both ecchi. just add kurokami and hajime no ippo and that’s all i’ve seen so far.I’m lazy to make first impression entries because i’m hardly impressed this season…oh yeah, it’s winter…so its cold… T_T (waiting for Spring)

I also watched only one serie from winter 2009… what can it be? maybe all publishers suddenly plotted to make money with animes without making them good? easy money or how they call it?

I’m in the same streak lately, looking for old-school stuff than most fluff being offered. The only show I value in this season so far is Marimite (80 proof, pure and unadulterated).

Of Maria Holic, much of the hilarity in it, or rather in Gender Bender theme is the “mindscrew” aspect. Yeah, he’s a guy, but remove the plot, that’s aesthetically a perfect “she”. But hey, without the delicious plot of said character being a trap, “she” will just be a typical girl — not “exciting”.
