Awesome! The first real song I ever played on Piano. It’s very fun to play and listen to. Have you heard the four-five string version?

I’ve played it before on the violin, but I’d rather not think of that ordeal ever again.

About the piano thing, Hell yes!., I need a 61 key! 88 key? Oh come on.. Canon in C major!? OH SHUT UP. Thats too hard for me.

blissmo: NO. NO DIFFICULT PIECES FOR NOW. Im learning Minuet in G for beginners. Ill take it easy first then ill do the hard way.
I tried studying Fur Elise, but dammit. So hard!

Haha, I can’t even play Canon in D on strings. But you played fine

I’m not used to hearing a keyboard much anymore though it sounds very pretty. The next song you should learn is Victor’s Piano Solo from Corpse Bride. It’s difficult (my fingers can’t reach the keys ‘cos they’re too far) but it’s such a nice tune!

Haha, I recognize that version. It seems to be the standard keyboard version of Canon. Really, I think the only things you have off are a bit of counting/rhythm and minor fingering issues. Everything else sounds pretty good to me, though it does weird me out a little now when I hear Canon on a keyboard without pedals because I’m not used to that anymore.

But in any case, you certainly didn’t fail! You’re doing fine! :O If you ever get a bigger keyboard/piano (I think 61 keys is enough, but I’m not sure since I have an 88 key real piano. :X), I have some sheet music for George Winston’s Canon (in C major, lol) and another pretty awesome arrangement of Canon in D. I love sharing things.
